To inflate close the valve lid at the bottom of the airbed and open the valve lid on the pillow. Then put your whole foot on the cushion area and pump. It may seem it is not working, but keep pumping and it will.
To deflate remove the lid and next lid of the valve on the bottom of the airbed and fold the airbed from the pillow towards the bottom.
